Meet Atiku

He was born in Jada, Adamawa State on November 25, 1946 to Garba Atiku and Aisha Kande Abubakar. He was orphaned at 11.

Adversity taught him to be kind, caring and compassionate. His childhood experience as a herdsman leading the family livestock to the pasture imbued in him the virtue of patience. The loneliness of childhood made him a lover of people and of a large family. His 20 years career in the Customs exposed him to the dynamics of a modern economy. And politics taught him focus, determination and the ability to manage people. His success in life is proof that there is the Nigerian Dream and that with providence, vision, integrity and hard work a man can affect his environment positively and make good things happen.
